Promotion of an online clothing store

We divided all the work on optimization and promotion of gets.md into three stages.

Stage 1 - preparatory stage.

• We analyze competitors’ store sites. We are interested in both the strengths and the mistakes that were made in the process of promoting other sites.
• We elaborate a semantic core. We choose the keywords by which we will promote the online store.
• We classify keywords. We divide them into categories and assign a page to each category.

Stage 2 - implementation.

• We write the metadata. In order for the search engine to perceive what information the page contains, we need to compose the title and description.
• Copywriting and we optimize the content. If necessary, write content, if there is no such a task - optimize the one that is on the site. We add keywords to the text.
• We set up the interlinking. To help the search engine navigate all the pages on the site, we need to link them together. Interlinking is also necessary for users who can quickly link to a page on a similar topic.
• We build up links. To promote the brand on the web and earn credibility, we build up a link mass.

Stage 3 - analysis of results.

• We analyze the indices. We compare the data “before” and “after” our work.
• We draw conclusions. We find out if we got the expected result.
• We adjust the strategy. If yes - we move in the same direction, if no - we use new methods.

Overall performance

We put the promotion plan into practice and the first results looked like this. For the first reporting period we managed to increase attendance by 31%, and the conversion rate rose to 8%. If we compare this data with the previous period, we can also see a decrease in bounce rates.

Link Growth

Extensive work was done to build up link mass. Pay attention to the graph - there is constant growth without positive and negative peaks. Why is this important? A sudden spike in referring pages will give a reason for the search engine to suspect the site of “foul play”.
